The most beautiful of our Clara series to date if you ask me! In April 2025 I was invited to visit Antigua, Guatemala and get to know the Guatemalan textile heritage and the individuals involved in organizations keeping their craft alive. I got the chance to take home some vintage Cortes, to work with them and bring some Guatemalan culture back to Europe. Cortes are loops of fabrics, often woven and embroidered on back strap loops. They are work together with a Huipil and are part of traditional Guatemalan clothing. The embroidery is used to connect the fabric. Every embroidery has their own different meaning and represents the area the woman that crafted it is from.
Our series of revive pieces are all handmade from locally sourced vintage textiles. The shapes and cuts are adapted to fit the fabric perfectly.

Care Wash cold with mild detergent in washing machine. Do not tumble dry. Always try to partially wash stains and air out frequently.
