I got the chance to take home some vintage Cortes, to work with them and bring some Guatemalan culture back to Europe. Cortes are loops of fabrics, often woven and embroidered on back strap loops. They are work together with a Huipil and are part of traditional Guatemalan clothing. The embroidery is used to connect the fabric.
